THE GRAMOPHONE
1887 - Emile Berliner Invents The Gramophone And Records
On November 8 1887, Emile Berliner, a German immigrant working in Washington D.C., patented a successful system of sound recording. Berliner was the first inventor to stop recording on cylinders and start recording on flat disks or records.

QUICK FACTS
We are located at 4243 Manchester Avenue, between Tower Grove Ave. and Boyle Ave., in the Grove. There is a free parking lot located just west of the building, along with ample street parking along Manchester.

We will be open Tuesday through Saturday nights, from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Weekday shows start at 9pm, weekend shows start at 10 p.m.(No Cover until 8:30 p.m. unless noted)

We will accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We will not accept checks.

We are a 21+ venue and non-smoking, unless otherwise noted on our concert schedule.

We offer a full bar, including draught, bottle and can beers; wines by the glass and bottle; and classic and signature cocktails.
